It's Kool to have a fast car, but imo being able to cruise the hwy to a meet or grab some dinner etc and not be turning a lot of rpms makes it even that much better. I'm sure you can find one from a wrecked truck somewhere cheap, and guessing about 1k ish to have it built. For a built nice glide you will spend as much or more. Yes its a heavy trans but it won't break and only shifting once is boring.. ask Clint how boring his car got after I put a glide in it..

i have a call into him right now, i figure i'll probably have him tear open this th350 and see what happened. it has to be something mechanical as I drained the fluid out of it and it literally looked brand new, no metal, no pieces, smelled good, etc. The trans never slipped and I didn't know anything was wrong until I left the track. I think whatever happened to it happened when I was racing Clint, I pedaled it twice when it got loose (once out of the hole, once around 300ft, and I guess something let go.
If it is reasonable to do so I'll have mike fix it, freshen it up, then sell it to help offset the cost of whatever trans I go with. Thing only has less then 2k miles on it and the converter was just built for it in December.

Glides are tried and true tested. The biggest question, is are you willing to suffer on the street for it? I know plenty of guys with glides, but they get 4-5 mpg.2005 M3 Vert with TSW rims
