If you could explain a little further I'd really appreciate it because the way I thought it worked was that the gate would be shut at lower boost levels. I don't know the exact cracking pressure but I always imagined it wouldn't be much lower then the pressure that it maintains (but again I could be way off). How can you force it shut without a thousand dollar ams1000 or the like?
Oh, and one other question, how valuable is a turbo blanket and wrapping the hot side? Will this make any noticeable decrease in spool times?
