I am running the Accel/Lucas/Trickflow low impedance 120# injectors for my E85 set up. Right now they run around 2ohms resistance. With that said I need to increase the ohms resistance to between 10-12.
AEM makes this super trick throw down Peak & Hold Injector driver that I would splice into to my harness on the signal side of the injector. Easy to install, fish harness out in the kick panel, cut each of the 8 injector signal wires, make two solders per wire, ground the box, power the box, plug the two connectors in. All that for a $300 part.
OR
I find 20-25w resistors that will live in the engine bay soldered into each 12v positive lead per injector. The trick is going to be finding a resistor to meet the specs 10ohms and handle 20-25w and be easy to solder into the wires and not break.
I am open to suggestions. I am not afraid of trying the second option but like the ease of the first. I have put so much money in this car every trip to the store is costing me $300.
