battery is good if i run wire from + to msd i can get the car to start but had it hooked up to red and green wire at ignition and used to work but today nothing does, windows would roll down and all but im guessing something blew and nothing works

If all of your fuses are good, check the fusible links. If all is still good, replace your ignition switch. Everyone with a Fox Mustang has had to do this at least once. It's cheap and easy. Use a Motorcraft part if you can get it, but the last one I got from AZ has lasted about 6 years now.

fusible link should be down near your starter.

found the fusible links at the solenoid, and the yellow one did not have continuity before and after link so im assuming that its, im going to install a inline fuse but dont know what size and why would this have burnt out?

Not sure why it would burn out. I've had it happen before. Just go to vatozone and buy a fusible link. They have a few different sizes.

i would but the wire that comes after the link is crap! falling apart on its own, so i have a inline fuse ready to go just need to know what size fuse and it will be easier to replace fuse than link if i dont figure out whats causing it

i dont know if you know what wire im talking about exactly but its the one that has 4 more links hooked with it that end up tied to big yellow that goes to battery side on noid.

If you can figure out what gauge size the wires are you can find out what size fuse you'll need.

I think 18ga will be more like 5 amps. Let me check...

here I found a website that will help you determine fuse sizes. 5 amps is max for 18awg. http://www.hotrodsandclassics.net/us...dfusequide.htm
