How are those of you running the Strange 10 way’s setting them up for 275’s? I tried to get some traction with my current setup on Sunday (Wolfe anti-roll, Strange 10 ways in the rear w/stock V8 springs, Lakewood 90/10’s with coil over kit (14” 150lb springs) and did not have much success. Best 60’ was a 1.55 and that was leaving very lazy and no boost at all. I tried leaving at 8 psi and 3 psi and just blew the tires off. Brooks was out there and was nice enough to watch me leave a couple of times and mentioned that my front stocks seemed to not be working with my current setup. I just put an order in for some Strange 10 way front shocks that “should” work with my current coil over setup. They “should” be here by the end of the week so hopefully I’ll get a chance to T&T on them before the cruise.
Anyway, first of all, both the front and rears are 10 way single adjustable. What exactly is the adjustment, is it compression, rebound, or a combination? Secondly, what should I be looking for, I always assumed you want the rear to squat, the front to raise (putting more weight on the rear), and you don’t want the rear bouncing up after the initial hit as that unloads the tires. If that is true my guess would be somewhere around a level 3-4 in the rear and somewhere around 7-8 in the front. This could be way off so I am looking to those who have their short game in check to give me a little guidance.
On a side note, any tips/tricks for anti-sway bar settings on 275's?
