1000lb/ft + shoddy assembly = ??

this is the rear end in my truck. its at Paul's (greenbullit) for a rebuild now maybe he can post some more pics after he disassembles it. I think he said it had almost a half inch of play from side to side. Terrible

for the record, neither him nor I assembled it the first time.

You can see the bearing hanging out on the right side due to the slack. That ain't right. Either someone left out some shims or the bearing on the left side bit the dust.
