Replace rings and internals on the original.. And swap in when the mark engine grenades.

Pulling the motor is easy, a weekend job if committed.

Pulling the motor is easy, a weekend job if committed.

Pulling the motor on the Mustang will be a much easier job than doing the same on a Mark VIII. You might get the Mark VIII motor out in a weekend if you are committed........and with some help. The Mark VIII engine bay is a much tighter fit than the Mustang engine compartment. It is easier pulled from the bottom via dropping the k-member.
