It's similar to selling a home, most improvements turn into sell points. Maybe demanding a higher price, but never what you put into them. The joy of a car, is that it's MUCH easier to yank parts and sell them on the side and get market value on the car. I was just too lazy and did not have the resources to make that happen. Your blower is not installed yet, so just sell it and the car separate. I don't know the cost of ring replacement, but it really opens the buyer market if a vehicle is in good running condition.
Otherwise you're limited to gearheads, which know they can yank ya around on price and will do so.
