  • School me on Srt4's

Can someone school me on Srt4's? I wanna get on for my dd. So what are some of the major problems with them? What do I need to look out for when looking at one? Other than regular stuff everyone looks for like knocking, smoking, and leaking? Thx

Swap the engine mounts stat, but be prepared for a lot of vibration with solid mounts when the AC is on. After that, change the shifter bushings out with urethane bushings, and swap in the billet shift selector from AGP. If you have the coin for it, Modern Performance in Houston got Hurst to make a new run of shifters, and may still have them. Honestly, srtforums.com has a ton of great tech.

Major problem is that they look like Neons.

buddy was looking for one has well....every one we looked at was beating on....but then again most them were at those "buy here pay here lots" most dealers just wholesale them now since they are old and normally need alot of work.....one came in on trade and was wholesaled....needed to much work for dealer to turn a profit.

just becareful with what you get......may end up costing you.
