    Heads are likely cracked. Figure $500ish to get it on the road. If you wanna sell it, PM me with details.

      It will start and run, struggles to build RPM and feels really low on power. There is exhaust coming from the radiator cap as well.

      What other problems should I investigate? How big of a pain in the ass is it to work on one of these?
      take heads off get them resurfaced get new head bolts and head gaskets throw them back on an u should be good.
      440-RWHP, 400-TQ, 6psi
      7.4 @ 93 mph 1.7 60ft

        holy old post. and to the other replies, the heads are bad about cracking and have to be replace in multiple cases. They are cast iron, not alum.
