  • Adjust cable?

Saw another thread that reminded me of this . I have a honda daily driver -well a backup car really) that has a very easy to press clutch cable. No problem there.

And i know you can't really compare a mustang, but man that thing is so stiff! I am thinking maybe somehow i can adjust the cable? Whats the easy way to do it?

The clutch pedal is very hard to depress. My mustang is a 94 model with the V8

I assume it is not a stock clutch? Adjusting the cable will do nothing to the stiffness.

The only Mustang clutch that I've felt that feels like a Honda clutch is a RXT, but I doubt you want to drop a grand into a clutch for pedal feel. Like stated above, adjusting the clutch won't do anything for stiffness.

A clutch cable kit from maximum motorsports will make it feel better.

Hmm i really don't know. The car was pretty much all stock as far as i know, when i got it. But it feels too stiff to me. Maybe when they had to replace the cable or something they skimped and bought a crappy one.
