On the 05 G35 I had a rear seal leak for 2 years. Got it fixed a couple of months ago. For the first month, I could still smell oil burning on the exhaust.
Here's my question. If oil got on the cone, could that cause the cone to be ineffective? Seems like once the car has been driving for 5-10 minutes from a cold start, it seems to get sluggish. Top end speed in each gear seems to be slower. Hope that makes sense.
If it is possible, how can I troubleshoot this?
