Got one sitting in the garage right now. Not really a core I guess. Tranny was working when I pulled it. Pretty sure it could use a rebuild at some point.

My uncle had a t5z, so I bought it instead.
I still want a core so I can rebuild it or use parts to fix this one. All I need from the core is the layshaft and reverse idler. 180$ at the gear shop for those, so might as well get a core for 75-100$ and go that route.

It actually still shifted perfect, just got extremely loud. And I think had some vibrations, then again this was about 5 years ago it's been just sitting since.Last edited by Nemo; 02-03-2012, 06:20 AM.Comment

I actually have a t5 sitting in my garage I was going to put in my 92 coupe but decided to go with a tremec TKO 5 speed. If you want it, I will take $50 for it.Comment
