  • Play in steering wheel...

87GT with tilt wheel, have some play & a clicking noise... pulled the wheel off, and I've narrowed it down to what looks like a bushing. It has some play and the clicking is when the pin is coming in contact with the shaft I believe. Any way to fix this?

If you've got any controls in your steering wheel, aka. airbag, volume, cruise control, you'll have a clockspring that allows the wheel to spin while keeping all that stuff connected. If you disconnect any part of the steering wheel and let the wheel spin too much in any direction you'll break the clockspring and lose all your controls and airbag.

Just a helpful hint, I just broke mine a month or so ago in my jeep doing a PSC setup... a $200 mistake.

Ah shit, I just looked at your pic, doesn't look like a late model, I see just two electrodes... you should be fine.
