Question for those using A1000

Is the Aeromotive speed controller needed for limited street use car?
Anyone here with or w/o the controller?
Starting to gather my Sump tank parts, already got the 11101, rails, regulator.
Guy from Dallas selling one in the corral.

I run an A1000 without a controller. The only time I notice any ill effects is during the summer when the weather is very hot. The pump runs hotter and gets a little louder. With that being said, I'm sure the fuel gets hotter and that, I'm sure, is not good. I have an Aeromotive controller that I'll probably install once I redo engine combo.

Which controller do you have? Is it the first gen. red one or the newer one?
