  • problem with 2v that comes and goes

my 2001 2v has an issue that comes and goes. it has been this way for a while so i havent beat on it in over 3 months and planned on having it retuned once i get my other car back.
occasionally the car seems to have a different sound, seems to run better on some days than others, and occasionally will hang the idle up anywhere from 1500 to 2000 rpm. coming to a stop the car will even drop to 1000 rpm and just climb up to the higher rpm and just hang there. any blind thoughts?

I would give that a try, could have something to do with the TPS.
        Wanna see my care face???

IAC or the TPS is my thought.

Sounds like IAC valve problem to me. Take it off and clean it out with brake cleaner. Wouldn't hurt either way and might fix the problem. Worked for me in the past.

See if it has any codes stored. Even if there is no CEL it may still shed some light on the issue.
