            Ive assembled dozens of ohv with stock internals with no issues and a few mod motors with no problems. I'm not saying don't do it I'm just saying it can add up so I'd just buy a factory forged shortblock.

              Personally, I'd hunt for a complete 03-04 longblock. Better heads, sell the blower setup and get the intake assembly from a Mach1.

                  yup, maybe but at the same time when have you seen a blown car with aftermarket shortblock go 100k + miles. Honestly in a forged factory shortblock you can't go wrong with a factory build.
