Fox body coupe with shaved moldings?

I've always wondered what a fox would look like with the side moldings completely removed, shaved & smoothed including the bumpers. Has anyone ever seen this done? I would like to see some pics.

Aside from the worst photoshop ever, I'd find that to be something that would look very odd and awkward. The fox doesn't have much to it to begin with, so when you take away body moldings it would look very bland. The front and rear bumper covers has the moldings molded into the cover itself making it all one peice so 'Smoothing' it out would be difficult to get right.

I'd think if the molding itself was smoothed, taking away the indention, may look interesting.

That's why I prefer black trim over painted, it creates contrast which is apealing. Rather then just blending In with the rest if the car.

I think it would look nice, more modern, and sublte. It would have to be done right though, with new, molded fiberglass or urethane bumpers. I had some on my Impala SS, and they looked much better than factory IMO.

Because of the bumper covers. If you were to sand down the molding material, there would be no marerial left.

The side profile of the car would look alright but the front view, with no molding or smoothed would look bland and odd, it'll look like the front of a panel van

Just the side moldings removed, front and rear there to match bumper. It would be tough to try and smooth out the bumper, I would think you'd have to find an aftermarket bumper setup that doesn't have the molding built in.

I've never seen a "smoothy" aftermarket bumper like on that Impala for a Mustang. I'm guessing it would have to be custom made. Maybe there's a market for it, but I have definitely never seen a Mustang done that way. Might look okay.

I think it would look sick if done right. New bumper moulds would be needed, but that's no big deal. Still can't believe this hasn't been tried by someone.
