  • 11'-12' bolt on's, owners inside please

Kona blue 2012 checking in. Car has the 300a package with an A6 and 3.15 gears. Car has 9800 miles on it already, purchased 08/16/11. Current modifications are JLT CAI, SCT X3 with custom Gearheads tune, rear OEM blackout panel, tint, full synthetic 5w20, muffler delete, and of course a Beltronics radar. We need to bring the car back down for a re-tune soon as it likes to surge a little at idle.

I detailed a 2011 SuperSnake 3 months ago; the owner still has all of the left over stock GT500 parts. In March, his GT500 wheels, tires, F/R brembos and strut mounts will be going on

As far as brake lines go, I do plan on putting stop-tech s/s lines on, and running a different fluid (Brembo LCF600). For those of you who have upgraded brakes, are you running a fluid with a higher BP?

For the other Coyote owners on here, what mods are you curently running? Today I ordered a Heart Throb cat back (the the clamps immediately after the cats, to the beggining of the axle-back), for $319.46 online, shipped, so hopefully that will come in within 10 days or so.

-What other bolt on's are actually worth the money and provide better performance? Also, who has meddled with their suspension set ups?

    Thanks!

Mine is a manual with 3.55's, a canned VMP tune and Pypes muffler deletes and it ran 12.10 at 115 at MIR last October. Full weight, 275 DR's. Plenty fast for a daily. I do have a 1 piece driveshaft for her too but haven't had time to get it installed.

No need for any higher temp brake fluid. We run 600 in our road race cars and never have problems.

As far as the suspension, there is a ton of things you can do.....it all depends on what your goals are. Street? Strip? Open Track? All 3?

The car will see some track use, 1/8 and 1/4 mile runs, no road courses. I'm wanting the car mainly to get much better traction and superb cornering. I will be bringing it to north star a lot when I get some more parts thrown at it.

The GT500 wheels are 19's in the front and 20's in the rear. (285's in rear). I'll pick them up and the brakes for around $2500; looking to spend no more than $1,200 or so on the suspension. A 3.55 gear may be in order also depending on how sticky the stock tires are.

Whose 1-piece do you have on the car?

        Thanks guys

I got a deal on the ds from American Muscle's eBay store. It's an Axle Exchange piece.

What differences did you see after putting it on? Gear heads let me know that a one piece is a worthy upgrade for these last time I was in there, never got to looking into it though.

What I'm worried about is pinion angle and vibrations with a one piece design instead of the two piece that absorbs most of the vibration, or doesn't make it noticeable.

            Thanks

Haven't installed mine yet, but my buddies '11 has the same shaft and it feels great. The stock 2 pc shaft is a heavy, power robbing piece of crap.
