my brother has 99 c5, and lately the car has been having some static noise come from the dashboard exactly where the heads up display is,
the noise comes and goes but when its making it if you hit the reset button on the cluster the noise goes away, shortly after noise comes back...
only thing that has been done to car (i suspect this maybe the issue) is there was a kill switch installed, to operate it you have to touch two ground before the car gets any power for you to turn it on.
my plan is to take apart some of the dash and trace wire to see if any of it has come loose or if any ground is loose.
other than that i have no clue.
