I hit it on the highway and it down shifted but didn't grab any gear so it hit the rev limiter. So I let out and coasted to a Parking lot off the exit at sandy lake and GB

Now the car won't move under its own power. It's not the output shaft because it won't move in park Not the rear end because the drive shaft doesn't turn at all when in gear

Billy my prob with that is I don't want to spend that kind of money on a 60, I'd almost rather do an 80 just a little more floor work needed to make it fit but then wouldn't have to worry aqbout the damn thing

Send him a message and ask him his opinion. I know his transmissions are handling a lot of power without issues. He will shoot you straight, he's a stand up guy.

Cant you just do a th400 pretty cheap and live with it? It's a turbo car so the gears are fairly tall right?

I probably could.. it has 3.50's in the 9" I'll have to think about what I'm going to do this time.. I don't want to keep breaking trans.

going to another tranny would mean a new stall which I'd probably want to go to a 3600 (3200 right now) and if I went to something that would hold a t-brake than I would probably do that... now we are talking about spending more money.. and then beating on it harder after its done haha

I am tired of worrying what is next to break ... I want to be able to beat on it and not worry about it (for the most part)

I used to beat the hell out of my turbo sand rail and it held up great.. of course it was only 1200lbs with me in it but still haha
