  • Where to get ET Street radials mounted

Went to Firestone near the house and they wouldn't touch them (???), maybe it is because I have slicks on there now, or maybe they are just trying to watch their rear. In any case, I need these 2 275/50/15 radials mounted on my 15x10 Pro-stars. Anyone near N. Arlington got a hookup?

X2. The discount tire in Mansfield didn't even bat an eye at mounting mine up for me.

You remember what they get per tire?

That's strange. If they're DOT legal and not a huge rim diameter shops usually don't care. It's not like they have crazy stiff sidewalls like DOT R-compounds either.

This is because Discount Tire carries drag radials (Nitto) in stock. Firestone does not deal in any performance products other than OEM.

Also, NTB will mount as well. Firestone is the only place that will not touch anything aftermarket, unless it is after hours

I wanna say it was $15 per tire but they fucked up an order on some lug nuts for my wheels and don't think they even charged me for mounting them up.

Firestone in sachse has mouted drag radials, slicks , whatever. In fact I cant remember anyone EVER turning me away.

and it seems like a 275/50 on a 10in wheel will not have much sidewall at all.

another vote for discount. Just had my supremely awesome 245/50/16 nitto 555Rs mounted today. The old tires were practically slicks..

                            sorry, meant 275/60/15, it's a 28in tire.

no need for a hook up. discount will mount drag radials without even blinking, if they are at or above tread depth needed for inspection. and ntb in lewisville mounted my slicks. no questions asked other than "how fast will this thing go?".
