I was at sams today. Red Top 159.99 Yellow Top and Blue Top 179.99 That is about 30.00 cheaper then autozone.

Not the newer optimas. I have seen them fail. Sams only offers a 3 year, and the energizer batteries have that. When optima was it's own company it was a lot better, but the batteries made after 07 were junk IMO. I would honestly spend my money on a odessy

I just replaced mine last month, Yellow top finally failed after 8 years and 3 vehicles later. I paid 189 at O'riellys.

I just replaced a diehard gold that was nine years old in my Jeep. It was still working it was just getting a little slower on cold days.

Been some rather lengthy discussions on different boards about how poor the Optima's have become after their assembly went to Mexico.
I have a new one in my coupe that won't hold a charge worth crap if you don't run the car daily.

Duralast has a Platinum line in some stores that are similar in build to an Optima type battery. They are also about 30% cheaper with a better warranty.
