5.5 to 6.5 backspacing is what I've seen and used. Rear tire size on a drag setup is different though, depends on tire height and width. I'd have to search for some old threads.

I'm just gonna go ahead and widen my wheel to 10 and hope the 315's fit without having to do any major modifications

what tires are you going with? I have fr500s for my fox im putting on, 17x10.5 for the back and 17x3.5 for the front. I am thinking about putting these on the back http://www.mandhdragtires.com/drag-r...drag-rear.html

those are some nice tires, i think if i would have gone with 17's then i could have pulled those off, but since i went 18's im stuck with a smaller tire

I bought them off someone from work, didnt bother to ask cause i was too excited lol
