Is there a simple way to get a resistance temp sensor to output 0-5V
    Example
if the sensor is reading 100,000 ohms then .1 V
if the sensor is reading 100 ohms then 4.9 V?

I want to use some GM sensors to monitor my trans and diff fluid temp but my data system needs 0-5V input.

Doesn't GM use a temp sensor in their Allison transmission for Duramaxx engines?

There's this thing if I'm completely wrong.

I am just using the cheap temp sensors that gm has been using for years in their gas motors

Just read on a Diesel forum that the voltage range in their temp sensors are 0-5 VDC.

I bet with a little more probing multiple sensors could be found, but I'm now shutting down the shop. This concludes my internet surfing for the day.

4L60E and 4L80E both have temp sensors that screw in by the linkage.
