  • Diesel shops in the DFdub?

Any shop recommendations in the area for replacing an injection pump on a 24v cummins? Friend at my wifes work needs it replaced on a '98 (235hp), I can get him to pick up the pump just needs someone to toss it in, a new lift pump(with warning light is either on it already or will be installed at the same time so it wont happen again)

Anyone got any shops in the DFW area that wont rape them on labor? The pump is already going to tear them a new one and they just use it for a cheap farm truck to haul trailers.

    TIA!

I would say do the exact opposite of whatever this numbnut says, but "Diesel Pros" sounds like a shit hole by the name and looks like one by their logo, so...

Grand Prairie, 30/NW 19th street area, at their house, but im sure they can get it towed wherever, just trying to make sure they dont get screwed by some shop, already had some estimate of $2500 to replace it, LOL. Pump is $1100~, so thats almost $1k for labor? come on, lol.

Sneaky, they are still in business, thanks for the tip, ill have them give them a shout too.

you can get a pump for around $800 as a retail buyer. it's pretty much impossible to install it incorrectly.
