h pipe or x pipe

lm2s and lm1s are pretty much an excuse of a muffler/res. They are almost like going straight pipe lol, so it's gonna be loud obviously.

Screw this X/H twin exhaust "muscle car" trash. I'm getting a full greddy exhaust kit and going single 3inch, sideways exit for +6hp

Go to the street races and listen to some cars like yours. When you find one that you like ask them what the setup is.

X has more power, but doesn't sound as good.

I don't know about that. My fox sounded mighty healthy with an X on it.

Are we talking new 5.0 or old 5.0? If it's a 2011+, here's an excellent writeup/test of the ORH vs ORX. The X just BARELY beats out the H in HP gains. It comes down to which sound you prefer.
