  • Which Pro-M 75mm for a '93 Cobra?

About to pull the trigger on a pro-m 75 for the '93 Cobra. Car has the stock X3Z computer and stock airbox with 24lb injectors.

Now, am I wrong that the X3Z has the calibration for the 24lb injectors in it and I need a 19lb injector calibration in the mass air sensor?

I had no question until this morning when I looked on CJ Pony Parts and they show a different Pro-M for the '93 Cobra than for the regular '87-'93 5.0.

Which Pro-M do I need to get for it (again, no cold air...stock air box)?

    Thanks in advance!

If you are going to have it tuned dont worry about switching the computer. You will have to get a maf specific for the 93 cobra since it will be for 24lb injectors, not 19lb.

If you are not tuning it, i would recommend an a9l like stated above. Then you can just get a maf for regular 5.0 for 24lb injectors.

If you want more inches - Stroke it!!!

No the computer already knows it has 24lb injectors. A maf "for" 24lbers is made to fool a processor with 19lbers. The 93 cobra has a different transfer functon so the maf for the cobra is calibrated to match up with that. Just get the one recomended for your vehicle
