Long story short... 87 GT, sat for a while, now it has a miss. Replaced cap, rotor, wires, plugs, TPS, cleaned IAC (looks like it was replaced at some point), replaced a bad fuel injector, checked timing - shows to be advanced 15 degrees, fuel filter, and re-ran a couple of vacuum lines. Still idles like crap.
Tonight, checked firing order, its on the 302 (non HO firing order). Changed it to the HO firing order, runs like shit. Changed back to standard 302, disconnected EGR vacuum line and plugged it, idles much better, but backfires when coasting in gear. Changed back to HO firing order with EGR disconnected to see if it makes a difference, still runs like shit. Switched back to regular 302 firing order, now I'm out of ideas.
This is getting to be annoying. It DOES have more power after replacing the 1 fuel injector, and I would replace them all if I knew it would fix the problems, but ~$550 is a big chunk of change to gamble with...
