Just an update for those in here with the same issue:

I wrapped up the install on my Maximum Motorsports C/C plates this morning and it seems to have solved the issue. The front end clanking noise is gone, it doesn't feel like the front end is on stilts, the ride is much smoother and it's handling a lot better. The excessive negative camber is also gone and it actually is pretty close to well aligned, although I'll be getting an alignment later today or tomorrow either way.

I'm anxious to see how the bumpsteerkit and X2 ball joints will affect it, but now that the problem is fixed I'm not going to spend the time/money to install/have them installed for a while.

Can anyone point me in the right direction on getting my old UPR plates warrantied out?
