Turbo Question..

I was talking with some people at work and was curious to see what others thought..


Which set up would be better one big turbo say 88mm or 2 smaller turbo.. 61mm


I figure the two smaller ones.. being able to spool up faster and since there are two.... they should be able to move more air... He seemed to think the one big one would be better..

Just curious.. And we were talking about on his LS1 if engine type makes a difference..

We need to know the rest of the setup.

Street, strip, weight, gears, etc....

And post tits or gtfo.

The way I look at it is if you have money to blow just do twin turbo. If you are on a budget, do single since it will cost almost half the price for the turbo setup.

You have to remember that you will have only half the exhaust spooling each 60mm as you would if you had a single 88mm. Without knowing the setup its hard though.
