  • Extra Key

I thought I lost my keys this mourning, so to be safe I want to get a spare key made. Does anyone know a place other than the dealer where I can get another key made for my 2002 GT.

have pats disabled in your tune. take the key to a hardware store and call it a day. i disabled pats in my sct tune on my old mustang because the transceiver in the column went out and i didn't want to fix it. definitely, solved any problems of worrying about dealing with chipped keys and reprogramming.

Nope. I can't program a key unless you have two working keys.

With two keys your car can program a third key. Only one key? Takes a special programing box that only lock smiths/dealers have. Just call around to lock-smiths and find the best deal to reproduce a key.
