  • More clutch questions....Help

Just got my car up and running. The clutch and tranny was already in the car, all I had to do is hook up the clutch cable. After proper adjustment to the clutch, the pedal is stupid hard. It almost feels like something is in a bind but there isn't. I drove it around the block to see if it would get easier but it doesnt. Any suggestions on why the pedal is so damn hard?

Other than 89silver coupe , info on the car would be helpful . I've seen clutches that were stupid hard but normal for the kit that was put in the car .

Yea I guess that would help. It has a tremmec 5spd and I think it is a spec clutch. Not sure though.

I guess heavy pedal is relative , I would have to feel it . Is it just real stiff or does it feel like its gonna cause knee problems ?

What spec clutch? I have a stage 3 heavy, and it's a bitch for most people just to start the car. It's also rated for 800 ft/lbs. We need info on the clutch model.
