If injected, w/a heavy rag over the schrader valve on the fuel rail, depress the core of the valve. The rag is to prevent being sprayed.

This.
Loosening the cap releaves whatever vaccum might exist in the tank but does nothing for the fuel system on the oposite side of the fuel pump.

Thanks guys... All done.. Runs a bit rougher at idle and throwing a code though. Gonna check the code tommorrow.
