  • Any chevy techs on here?

Changed the front heater core in my 2001 Suburban yesterday and what an epic pain in the ass that was. Anyway, everything works except my cruise control. I noticed when I was putting the dash back on there was a black (8 pin maybe) connector right under the dash pad on the far passenger side but I couldnt find the other half to it. I thought maybe it was a feature I didnt have or something and moved on. Now Im guessing it was my CC. Does anyone who has done this job know what connector Im talking about and if so, where the other half is or goes?

I know its a vauge question but just figured I would ask before I tear into it again Sunday.

CC module is in engine compartment on the drivers side. Been a couple years(thank god) since i did a heater core on one of those....ain't it a bitch!

Ok the connector in question is #10 on that diagram. Sucks though because that doesnt look like its cc related. UGGG

Here the c207 connector. Might still be the problem, i see VSS signal in there.

Vss, that might keep the cc from working.

Yep, just hope you don't have to yank the whole dash to find the other end...Good luck!

oh crap, ok I was googling the cruise not working and alot of people asked if the brake lights were working. I just checked and my brake lights arent working! Now Im nervous as hell driving home. I didnt unhook the brakelight switch so I got no clue.

Got both the brake lights and cruise figured out. That C207 plug above is still unplugged, I dont have steering assist and all that so maybe thats why. I did, however leave a plug unplugged on the drivers side under the dash. As soon as I slipped the the dash cover off I saw it, plugged it back together and have both brake lights and cruise.
