Maybe that's a good thing or maybe it's a bad thing depending on your current wot AFR. My bet is that you will need to add more fuel. Pull the vacume line off the regulator at the track and see if the mph increases. If it does then get an adj regulator and keep going up until it slows down. Then get a tune to add more fuel and put the fp back to stock.
Pulling the fp vacuum line off at the track will not pick up anything. The car looses vacuum at full throttle therefor doing the same thing as pulling line.
OBD1 does not learn like a OBDII does. It only knows it has a problem and will throw the light once it sees it everytime unless its a hard fault. But he will need to throw more fuel at it or get a tune to change the MAF tables to compensate for the lack of fuel .

Longtubes will pick up power over stock tubular manifolds, but not as much on a stock engine as a set or shorties will gain. Once intakes and heads are thrown into the mix, longtubes *should* gain more than a shorty.

You got a smoking deal on that exhaust set up. They have around 300 miles run thru them.

That would be stupid with or without tune. Almost as dumb as you claiming you put 4.30's a p-trac(lol) and tuned your 98 mark yourself. Do you have any idea the ID of a fox intake tube. Whether it be stock or a BBK? Do you realize you would have to swap the guts or buy harness to run lightning 80mm. Manny and or Travis and or any of the shop around could tune his factory stuff. No need to waste money on need less things. He wont need anything till he starts swapping engine components. Then he would nt need anything over a 75 at best.

                      The wiring is VERY easy.

And you are probably right about a 75 being good enough.

                      A stock 55mm is a restriction.

Were's the lol? I have fun doing all my work myself.

Lol at you claiming to do it all yourself. First, most Marks came with trac locs. Second I highly doubt in fact know you didn't properly swap gears on your independent rear suspension car. And third you didnt tune your car yourself. You may have bought a handheld or taken it somewhere but you didnt tune it.

And the wiring is not easy. Its a simple pigtail you plug in. No wiring involved. Which leads me to believe youve never done it.

The IRS made removing the pumpkin VERY easy. All I had to do was take off the passenger spindle and cv shaft. Popped right out.

I did tune it myself. Quarter-horse and Binary Editor. No handheld bullshit. I have full access to change anything I want...when my laptop is working.
