  • Scrap car haul off?

I've got a stripped Lincoln Mark VIII in my garage that I need to have hauled off. No drivetrain, hood, seats, bumpers, or fenders. Doors are off and inside the car. Windows and most of the interior panels are still in it. No brakes or steering.
It will roll but doesn't have much else going for it anymore. It does have a title.

Location is NW Plano, south of 121 & east of Preston.

I need to have it picked up and hauled off to the great scrap yard in the sky.

Do you know who I can call to have it removed?

Does anyone buy this as scrap if they pick it up?

Is there any prep work required prior to pickup?

I'd like this moved soon as I will be rolling it out of the garage and into the driveway this afternoon. I don't want to piss off my neighbors with this junk, nor the HOA.

Do you have the title? It's going to make it a lot easier to get rid of. Some scrap guys won't take a car without a title.

As far as getting anything for it, I doubt they will pay you anything especially since there isn't much left.

Yes, it has a title. I'd be really happy just to have it gone. It has more than paid for itself over the years that I've had it, first as a beater DD and then as a parts car for my other Mark VIII.

The spare on this car blew out when I aired it up....left me stranded one afternoon a few years ago after a flat!

If you have the wheel, I still want it.

You're in College Station learning how not to park. If I was to save a spare wheel for you with a blown out tire it would sit in my garage until I throw it in the trash.

Besides that, I'm keeping one of the full size rims w/ a decent tire for those occasions and putting the flat, blown out donut on the car to go to the scrap pile.

Who's butt-hurt? and po-po? Not me brother, there are more important things to do in life than getting bent over some comments on this message board.

                          Aight.

I would have paid. I'm not sure how asking you if you had it encited attacks on me.

That was no attack. Just stating the obvious. You are a long way from me and no one is going to make a long trip to pick up a spare tire rim that has a blown out tire. It's worthless and would collect dust in my garage for years until I throw it out. Don't be so sensitive.
