  • Rear disc brake job

2004 Dodge intrepid with rear discs- Not my car.

On one side the pads are completely gone, and the rotors have some good grooves in them, but the opposite side is okay.

Is it okay to get one new rotor, and turn the other side? Or do both need to be equal?

Turn one and replace one. If it were more of a performance application, I'd do both. In this case, I'm sure it will be fine.

Cool man, that's what I was thinking. Especially since its rear brakes. Money is tight for the little lady, so I was trying to keep it on the cheap.
