351w swap headers?? Help

i have a 1989 mustang with a 351w in it. Was curious if any of you know if the BBK-1569 swap longtube headers will work with a c4 automatic. They say they are for a 5spd, but didn't know if any of you have used them with a c4.

Any help would be appreciated

nevermind, just read the summit notes, and they say they will clear c4 and c6 transmissions

I sure hope "they clear" means they fit a lot better than my long tubes did with a C4. Putting them in mean raising the motor, and the starter was about impossible to get the bolts in. That's why I finally went to short tube headers

yea mine are a real PIA too. Better hope it's a small bell c4 and not a big bell like mine.
