  • What power does it take to get a full weight fox in the 9's?

    Full weight so 3400-3500lbs with me in it, stalled auto, 275/60/15's. How much power will it take to go 9's?
    -1997 Supra- mid 8 second street car
    -1993 Cobra- 700rw
    -2012 CTS-V- 9 second daily driver
    -1991 Coupe- LSA/TT/4L80 in the making
    -2007 GSXR 1000- built turbo bike

    I've been 9.8s with 570hp

        Full weight coupe w/stock k member. I'll look for the timeslip its been about 2years when I ran it at 1/4 track. I really ran it more at 1/8th track and with drag radials it ran 6.32's at 110mph

                well he said he was in a coupe which are i believe 150lb lighter i think. my cobra is 3450 with me in it like you so it will take a little more power with the cobras i assume.

                    Never dynod the coupe but it doesn't make much and haven't done much weight savings on it. Its probably right at 3050 without driver.

                      9's... 331 with 76mm turbo. i believe this is similar to yours??? almost identical lol

                        Wow low mph, looked at another video of his and he went 9.80@130+ which makes more sense. I would like 140mph traps personally, but not all 76mm's are created equal.

                          From what I've seen 600rw gets it done at 3500lbs.

                            About 600 rwhp with good traction and suspension should get you there.

                              hoping for a 9 soon myself, made 568 to the tires, through a c4 auto, on 28'' slicks. car ways 2990 without me, 3200 with me. Im hoping for a high 9
