    Wow. Didn't know fox bodies came with daytime running lights. Guess I learned something today.

              Is it a shorting plug or just a cap? If just a cap I bet you can trace them back in the harness and clip the wires or undo them from the socket.

                it is. that cap comes out of the plug too. the cap is actually a jumper pay attention to which wires are jumped and you can cut that harness back to the firewall and hardwire them together if youd like

                  IIRC, I think the Canadian models had the DRL, but they used the same harness in all of them.

                    Yes, its a jumper cap. That is my plan. remove as much as possible, then connect right wire together.
