97 v6 no start....

front end hit...no fuel, no crank...bags deployed.

airbag sensor?

will crank with jump wire to solenoid...

fuel cutoff reset...no pump prime.

not PATS...

suggestions?

Check the CCRM. It could have gotten messed up in the wreck. There is a fuel pump relay in that thing. It's in the inside fender well on the passenger side, remove the air intake tube and reach in the two holes and there are two 11mm bolts holding it in place.

Car won't crank with the key either. pretty sure the CCRM doesn't control the starter solenoid...

Car will crank if he jumps the solenoid to the battery...just no fuel pump. CCRM module appears to be unhurt. impact busted the header panel and radiator but only bent up part of the fenders. Not a severe hit overall damage wise, but enough to pop the bags.

Trying to make this into a lemons car so not too worried about hacking up the harness, just trying to figure out a way around the PATS and CCRM BS. May put the fuel pump, fan and ECU on relays/switches and see what he gets.

Bastard that sold him the car said it ran after the accident but looking over the car tells me they were trying to get it running but never did. fucking liars.

You might have a couple of problems here though. The CCRM won't cause a no crank problem, but it will cause the no fuel problem. The PATS system isn't it, the car will start, but die instantly if there is a fault with it. Check the ignition switch, something could have happened to it when the airbags blew.
