  • Wheel Repair in/around Dallas?

A surprise pot hole on Royal Ln in Dallas claimed a small portion on my inner wheel. Seems like it could just be bent back out. Anyone has first hand experience with a local place that could do this?

    Thanks in advance.

Wheels America did 2 for me. They came out perfect, I think it was $155 per wheel.

Ouch. I could buy a new wheel for that.

Don't use wheel repair solutions, they'll keep your wheel, never call back, then when you do get a hold of someone 4 weeks later they'll say "oh yeah, that wasn't fixable, we scrapped it." especially if the wheel cost 400 a piece.

        Fuckers.

Yeah I was breaking even either having them fixed or buying new ones. I chose to have them repaired for the 24hr turn around. I didn't want to wait for new wheels to be shipped.

it literally needs around a 2 or 3 mm of movement. I could probably do it myself with a hammer, wooden block, and a towel.

And FYI, avoid the far right lane going west bound on royal between Hillcrest and DNT.

I work for txdot in maintence and being state we get all kinds of odd claims for road conditions.

Seems like that'd take more time than i have available.
I'll snap a picture tomorrow on my way home to see about possible reimbursement, but my i'm not expecting it to work in my favor.
