You can build one cheap that will work just as good, if not better than a progressive control kit.

If you need a parts list, feel free to pm me.

I've got the AFM Mr Freeze kit on my car which is cheap. Since my motor is low compression and can't be tuned any further for the blocks sake, I'm able to drive around on 89 octane and the meth compensates when I start making boost. Car makes dead reliable 500rwhp with no intercooling.

Both of course. I can get power from a 3.33 pulley, Imrc deletes, etc but I don't have room for much more improvement. I thought meth would be a good wrap up for my stock intervals. 420rw or so, plus raising octane etc etc. I guess I could just run just water inj and a 3.3 pulley.

Have you priced a rebuild? You're probably on borrowed time as is with the age of your engine/miles, etc

Yeah. I'm buying a beater in a couple months so I'll be alright.

Why not use the vortech H.O. intercooler? Its a drop in.

An Air/Water intercooler is very efficient, and there is very little pressure drop compared to a air/air.

Use a bilge pump to circulate the water, add a heat exchanger and tank, and be done.

Or save a shit ton and do water injection with similar results. Lol

Is there any benefit to JUST water injection? Is it the water that cools down the intake temp or do you have to have methanol? I feel like I should run just the water injection as an intercooler and use a 3.33 pulley to make more power. that way I don't add timing on methanol, and if my water injection quits unexpectedly It will still be safe. Thoughts?

yes you can do that, but it still won't be safe if you run out. 3.33 with no form of cooling will have a high chance of detonation. plus, straight water will freeze in the reservoir in the winter.
