Lol. Another for a cracked intake manifold, there isn't much else that will leak in that area. Head gasket blowing to the outside is super rare, I can only think of one instance that I have ever even heard of. Heater core will leak inside more often than not.

03 shouldn't have the problem with intakes cracking....but definitely worth looking into

Fill cooling system, put cap back on, start engine, let it get run long enough for upper hose to get rock hard and kill engine. Looks for leaks, or take it to someone with a cooling system pressure tester. Right front passenger side could also be a radiator leak.

when my buddys 98 GT cracked his intake, we popped to hood to see what had happened...idling it looked fine.

then i gave it some throttle and it pissed coolant out.

but, since your car is an 03, the coolant crossover should be aluminum and not plastic as it was in the early intakes. so it shouldn't be your intake.

i would say your heater core, even though you didn't have a wet passenger side floorboard. maybe all of your coolant just pissed into the parking lot and not into the car.
either way, its one of the two.

Hey... instead of starting a new thread I figured I would post to this one...

When the car is not running, I just noticed a "hiss" from what appears to be a valve of some sort, it is on top near the alternator.... I think this is another problem, though. Anybody know what this is? The hissing continues for at least 30 minutes....

Knew as soon as I put 100K on it, all these problems would start....

Also, when replacing the heater core, dont you have to take the dash out?

X2 if it's the plastic intake.
