on a serious note, if my post piss you off just ignore them or me or both, i'm the easiest going mofo on this site, no reason to come in here and piss all over the walls to prove something or make me look like an ass, i do a pretty good job of that myself.
It's all good. I don't take anything from the boards to seriously. I just think you should do some research. The combo is nothing special and you can learn from others that have already been there done that. Good luck with it..... And I do look forward to dragging it soon

I dropped the crank off this morning to get polished. I saved it by shutting it down as soon as I heard it. The crank looks good just needs cleaned up so should be good to go soon
awesome man, i've always like your build. i know i pissed some folks off when i went with the t6, but with my indecisive ass it seemed like the best choice since i rarely stay with one combo long and the upgrade-ability is unlimited with the large frame stuff.

thats what this thread is for, research! sure i ask a lot of questions, i don't like hearing after the fact that what i did or chose was the wrong thing, i understand that i wear out my welcome with some on here and thats fine, trust me, i've read THOUSANDS of pages concerning what i am going to do with this build, but sometimes hearing some of the local "go to" opinions is helpful as well.

Don't go full retard on me. I'm sorry i'm not a broke ass, that needs to do everything myself. I don't make threads trying to save $5 like you or ask for everybody for discount codes. Or OMG my tire ripped, what does dfwmustangs think the warranty will do (how about calling them)?? Or trying to sell shit that costs $5 on tech. That's all you....

The shop that does my work is actually one of my best friends. Sometimes we do the work together, sometimes I don't even look at it until it's done. Works out great and it runs a hell of a lot better than your garage built car ever will.

And I have a 4l60e and they don't like transbrakes so I won't be getting one installed.

Mine is just a fun street car
Your car is definately a cool cruiser

If you're getting every Tom, Dick and Harrys advice on what you should do, technically, its not your build. Your just copying what someone else did.

I think you need to think about what you are doing and build it how you think it should be built. That's how you learn.

i never said a negative word about the shop that you use, as a matter of fact from what i've heard they are hands down the best and only shop i'd use in the metroplex.

with that said i do find it strange when folks come in swing their dong around with cars they didn't even build. should just go race wallets.

f-me for trying to save a buck, this is just one of my hobbies and any money i can save/make from selling old parts goes right back into the car. i've sold about a thousand worth of parts in the last 2 weeks, that's guilt free race parts money.

not sure that making educated decisions based on absorbing research/advice then making decisions discounts a build from being your own, but see what you are saying.

i guess if i had slownbmta money i could do just like you said and try every possible combo, unfortunately i have other obligations that i have to consider before i piss money away on parts that won't work well together, thus i ask questions in a forum that was designated for this exact purpose. this seems to piss some folks off however.

                      Stop the presses...... $1000

So cars that other people have worked on shouldn't be raced

Did you build your motor? Did you build your transmission? Did you build your rear end? What a dumb ass statement/argument lol

                        obviously i wasn't selling $5 parts, i didn't sell 200 parts in the past 2 weeks.

there is a difference between writing a check and picking up a car and "building" your car. if my motor needs to come out, i pull it, i put it in, head gasket goes, i replace it, cam swap, me again, are there some parts of the car i feel are best suited for professionals, yep, but most shops outsource that work as well so the point is null.

i'll have been the only one who touches this turbo setup, every bend, ever weld, can you say the same?

go count all your money or something, obviously the thought of this thread getting back on track is done.

I have done all that stuff on ls1's plenty of times. I wouldn't on this 4V. No thank you lol. If it ever blows I may even put an lsx in it
