          i really don't have a problem with anyone on here. getting shit on for asking what i feel like are reasonable questions for a tech forum sucks, but i'll live.

          my coupe might not be setting the world ablaze, but it drove me to and from each of the cruises (and 1600 miles worth of other places in the last 6 months) without fail and has been a fun car.

                It's a sweet car. You might be able to squeeze 2 tenths maybe with a lot of tuning but for what it is it runs about what it's suppose to.

                      it's in a bunch of pieces now, hot side piping just came in from RPS tonight, cold side will be here next week. right now i have 9 tracking numbers outstanding! it's like xmas every day when i get home from work. should be quite a bit quicker at the next cruise.

                      i appreciate the kind words, i'd have liked to see it go a little faster, but as brooks never fails to remind me, my unwillingness to ditch a/c and b.s. cost me that 6 second n/a time slip. oh well, i'm still not giving up ac!

                              Mike- I think you've misinterpreted my posts in the past, but the conversation you keep reciting is in regards to a 'stock' 5.0. I said something along the lines of "the head flow and cam won't matter, the turbo will make enough power to split the <stock> block without either - those two things will just shift the power around"... maybe not verbatim, but you get the idea...but the big daddy and wolfe part is a bit overboard, it's relatively obvious that they'd be running some sort of top of the line heads/port work.

                              FWIW, my L33 5.3 has stock everything minus the LS6 cam, spring, and ARP headbolts...but it's a PG with a 'brake too.

                              staging - if you've watched ANY turbo car, you've seen it roll through the lights, probably more than one time.

                                When we were building the GTO we made damn sure I would have AC The GTO is all power windows and locks, AC, CD player, over drive, power steering, power brakes, every comfort you would want in a new car
