            x2, thats about what i have on my 98 Cobra. i have 4.30's and a 75 dry shot (5115 kit..). No times yet..

                had 4.30's and a 100 dry shot with drag radials and it went 7.6's

                  buddy's 98 gt with 4:30's , 70 dry, drag launch kit, upper & lower control arms, and drag radials ran 7.90 couple times and low 8's all day, but also broke 2 stock axles and 1 set of spiders.

                    personally, if I were gonna buy an off-the-shelf kit I'd go with a wet kit. i ran 100 shot thru my 96 for years with 4.30s. throw a drag radial on it and have fun.

                        also... you might want to consider a short shifter and some subframe connectors. you might have them but I didn't see them in your sig. I know it's all on a budget but they will help.

                          Short shifter is going to be an early christmas present to myself!

                          Looking at the steeda Tri-ax, unless somebody has another, cheaper suggestion.

                            the tri-ax worked just fine for me. in recent years ive seen lots of people talk higly of the MGW shifters but I dont know what they cost.
