PI intake, PI Cams, and used S-trim, or Novi. Best bang for buck on a non-pi turd. Thats what I had on my 96 and put me 380rwhp.

Fuck an intake swap.. Just do the heads too.. They are cheap and it isn't hard to do.

                    So much for being different.....

Visit www.adtr.net chris has helped me out bunch on parts for my car and he has a lot of experience with panthers.

So far mine has 4.10 gears, trac lock, stainless works longtube headers high flow cats, stainless works cat back is on order bilstein hd shocks, addco swaybars, metco rear control arms and watts link and some other odds and ends.

Be prepared to spend more money on performance parts than you would a mustang as the demand isn't quite as strong....

Oh and muscle mustangs and fast fords did a pi head and intake swap with total engine airflow heads, pi intake, cams, long tubes and electric water pump and made 400hp to the crank. The pi heads on the non pi motor also bumps the compression up.

Also a lot of info to be had at www.crownvic.net

No need for pi heads, most of the bang is from the intake and cams. As said earlier no need for adapter plates. Cai, 4.10 gears and trak loc, have an exhaust shop build you a 2.5 system with an x-pipe, underdrive pulleys, plenum, and a big one is the J mod valve body mod. Top it off with a custom tune. Should make for a fun street/daily.

Its not all in the intake. Why would you want better flow in the intake only to have it slam into poor flowing heads?

Do an lq4 swap; add twin rear mount turbos. One Garret for real power and one precision so its a bit cheaper.

                            Add 24's, a system, and ho's
