OK I am looking for a lightning or gt40 intake for my 92 F150 351w. So can someone school me on what vehicles I can pull one off of and will I need the upper and lower? Can some one learn me something on this topic? How much power can be had from putting this intake on? Also how much power can be had from swapping out my heads for gt 40 heads also? thx

Well the truck only cast me 1800 bucks so I dont wanna put alot of cash in it just tring to give it a lil more pep. Also its a 4x4 not trying to race it or anything.

A gt40 351 lower is gonna cost some coin no matter what . You can find one from a gen 1 Lightning or Cobra or you can get an iron marine lower . They all average about 300 give or take for just the lower . I have on but its going on my Bronco .

It will give you a good bump but you need to make sure to open up the exhaust to . The heads are a good idea also along with a factory 5.0 H.O. roller cam and some roller rockers . It will add HP and not mess up the drivability . Make sure you have a larger T/B also .
